  • In these unprecedented times regional municipalities, in partnership with the Chamber, created a COVID Recovery Grant Program to provide additional assistance to small businesses within the municipality limits meeting the program eligibility requirements. The City of Leduc and the City of Wetaskiwin Grants are now CLOSED. The JEDI (County of Wetaskiwin, Town of Millet) Grant is OPEN until March 31, 2021 - see below.

  • In these unprecedented times, JEDI, County of Wetaskiwin and Town of Millet, and the Pigeon Lake Regional Chamber in partnership with the Leduc, Nisku & Wetaskiwin Regional Chamber of Commerce, have launched a COVID Recovery Grant Program to provide additional assistance to local businesses.

    The Chamber of Commerce will administer this program on behalf of JEDI. To take part in this program the small business recipient must be located within the County of Wetaskiwin or the Town of Millet and be required to submit an application. This Grant will provide funding for hours of accounting or bookkeeping services to a maximum of $600. Payment will be made directly to the third-party agency upon the Chamber’s receipt of invoice. NOTES: This grant does not relieve any invoices for previous services rendered and this new grant program is open to ALL businesses, not just Chamber members and is first come, first served - up to 40 businesses.

    This Joint Economic Development Initiative (JEDI) Grant, for the member municipalities of the County of Wetaskiwin and Town of Millet, is OPEN until April 30, 2021.
