    LONG TABLE SUNDAY DINNER AT FORTH HAVEN FARMS


    Join Huckleberry's Cafe & Forth Haven Farms for Alberta Open Farm Days 2019 



    You’ll be welcomed by a turkey slider & fresh farm mojito to enjoy while Jennifer takes you on a farm tour

    You’ll then be escorted to the long table dinner with a ‘Farm herb & berry iced tea’ where you’ll be seated under a magical tent right on the farm! (Please note this event will go rain, shine or wind so please dress accordingly!)

    Followed by an elegantly plated 4 course dinner of dill pickle soup with herbed pan bread. Fresh salad greens with a rhubarb lemonade. Entree featuring local bison & topped off with a trio of desserts (raspberry cream pie, apple cobbler & huckleberry pie). Coffee. Bottled water.

    ABOUT ALBERTA OPEN FARM DAYS

    Alberta Open Farm Days is a collaborative, province-wide, two-day event that gives Albertans an opportunity to experience the farm and understand where their food comes from. It is a backstage pass to meet the farmer, experience Ag-tourism in Alberta and taste local foods direct from the producer.

    Open Farm Days has taken place in Canada for over 10 years, starting in the Maritimes and moving West. 2019 will mark the seventh annual Alberta Open Farm Days.

    Directions: Located at 251046 Highway 13, midway between the City of Wetaskiwin and QE2.

    From the City of Wetaskiwin: Travel west on Hwy 13 (towards Ma Me O Beach) for 9KM.  The farm is on the north side of the highway, you can’t miss the big red barn.

    From Edmonton:  Travel south on QE2 (towards Calgary).  Take the Pigeon Lake/Wetaskiwin Hwy 13 exit and proceed east for 9KM.  The farm is on the north side of the Highway, you can’t miss the big red barn.
