    Program Worker, Complex Needs

    Wetaskiwin & District Association for Community Service - WDACS

    This position is in a complex needs group home setting, and the successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the needs of the individuals living in the home are a priority. You will advocate for them, encourage, develop and maintain independent living skills.

    Candidates who have experience working with clients with complex needs, have demonstrated an enthusiastic and passionate approach to those with developmental disabilities, with a committed and punctual work ethic will be considered. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills will also be important. The successful candidate will be required to provide a clear criminal record check and driver's abstract upon hire.

    The schedule (which is not flexible) is Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday's every 2nd weekend.
    The hours on Friday's and Monday's are 2:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday's are 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday's are 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

    Job Types: Part-time, Permanent


    Complex needs: 1 year (Preferred)
    Licence: Alberta Driver's (Required)
