    This part-time position is in a group home setting, providing a passionate and enthusiastic approach to assisting adults with behavioural challenges as their advocate and providing encouragement to develop and maintain independent living skills.
    The position schedule consists of 3 sleepovers, with an average of 13 evening and morning hours included per week.  
    We are seeking candidates who are motivated, compassionate, and have a committed and punctual work ethic.  Skills at supporting persons with developmental disabilities in a calm manner, and supporting mental health challenges will be key attributes.

    A minimum grade 12 education is required, with preference given to those with a diploma or degree in Disability Services, Social Work, or Human Services and/or equivalent experience.  Those applying must have a vehicle and class 5 driver's licence, carry $2,000,000 of liability insurance, and provide a clear criminal record check.  First Aid/CPR current certification, Medication Administsration and NCI are also definite assets.

    The rate of pay for the part-time hours for this position is $18.78 - $21.72, and each sleepover is paid a flat fee of $120.00.
